All Terrain

What all-terrain radial tires are the best for my truck?
I have a 2005 Silverado Z-71 extended cab. It is all factory right now, no modifications. I would like to have some tires that are wider and more aggressive than the street tires currently on there, but I rarely go off-road. When I do, it's on fire lanes and the like... no need for super-swampers. Maybe a leveling kit and larger tires? The size right now is P265/70/R17.
BFG All-Terrain T/A KO are great tires. I had them on my last truck and they were great. They got great traction in sand and snow, but rode good on road. I got over 50K miles out of them. As soon as the tires wear out on the truck I have now I am going to get another set. Your truck can fit a tire up to LT285/70R17 safely, so it's up to you what size to go with. A leveling kit and the size tire I have listed will be great for your truck. Here is a link to get more info on the BFGs.
