Dog Doggy
Why does my dog scratch or more like a quick doggy paddle with her arms on the sheets.?
She looks very intense and when we try to interrupt her she'll do whatever to continue to do it. She scratches the bed sheets, kinda of like a doggy paddle with her arms but on the bed sheets, blankets, and mattress until shes outta breath. She will rest for a second and do it again. Anyone know why?

She's making a "doggie nest" to sleep in. Dogs will naturally make their own beds that surround them so that they are comfy - and when the comfy blanket spreads out again, she fixes it. It's a trait from wolves. (:
