Car is repossessed and you pay all fines and get car back, does repo still show on credit?
My car was just repossessed. If I pay off all the repo fees along with the past due and am approved to get the vehicle back, will the repossession still show on my credit?
Of course. It has already been repossessed. If you wanted to keep this off your credit report (and save a bundle of money as well), you would have paid up what you owed before it was repoed. Now you pay a lot more. And have a serious long-term ding on your credit report, too.
