can u get an std by trying on clothes by someone who has an discharge but is getting treated for stds?
my friend and me went clothes shopping and was trying on the same clothes. problem is my friend doesn't wear any underwear. within 2 days she told me that she had an std but was taking meds and forgot to take them all. and she had started itching and having an discharge again. i've been having an discharge now plus an oder. what should i do now.
Yes it is possible if the STD is bacterial. The best thing to do is go and see your doctor, if he/she feels there is a chance you may have contracted the STD the doctor will put you on antibiotics. Just be careful next time hun, this sounds more like thrush (yeast infection) which is misconstruded as just an STD but its not, thrush is so common in women especially those who are on medications, pregnant and dont have a high tollerance for yeast products, it is bacterial and can be passed from clothing, towels, bed linen and toilet seats, pretty much like pubic lice. Does it itch and does it burn when you pee? is your vagina red? and you have a discharge so it does sound alot like thrush. If youre getting too itchy and its burning too much pop into the pharmacy and ask for some vaginal clotrimazole cream it will soothe it until you can get in and see a doctor, another thing to help ease the infection, as horrible as this may sound buy some natural yoghurt with acidophilis and tampons dip the tampon in the yoghurt and place it inside, the acidophilis will kill the bacteria in the vagina, it will smell bad but it will clear it up and just make sure you are very hygenic at this time dont use the same towel twice and try to avoid wearing underwear when youre at home.
