Puppy using wee wee pad as a bed?
I have a 10 week old puppy and ideally I want to have her go to the bathroom outside but right now the vet says she is too little so I have to use wee wee pads. She started sleeping on her wee wee pad and puppies don't "go" where they sleep and now she won't go on her wee wee pad. How do I break this behavior?
Try to tempt her over to where it is you want her to sleep with treats and such. Or call her over and show her to lay down in her bed or wherever, and praise her every time she's in it. It will take a little time, but she'll learn to associate the two, and sleep wherever it is you want her to.
