How much does Playto's Closet pay for clothes (shirts, sweaters, jeans etc)?
It depends on the quality and brand of what you're giving them. They don't pay much for shirts - probably max $10-$15 for a really nice quality in season item, but sweaters and jeans can yield more.
It really depends on what brands you buy - they will not take anything that isn't a popular teen brand and they also won't usually take anything that hasn't been in stores for over a year.
I just went through my closet two weeks ago and made close to $200. I brought them 6 bags (you're only allowed 3 per person per visit, so bring a friend to help) and got back probably 4. They don't give you an itemized receipt, but all of the stuff I sold was Banana Republic, American Eagle, Lucky or 7 For All Mankind jeans which aren't cheap. I would guess $30 for a flawless pair of designer jeans (Citizen, 7, Joe's, etc., less for Abercrombie, AE, Hollister). They actually didn't take most of my jeans because the bottoms were frayed from wear.
The stuff pretty much has to be in perfect condition, which was weird because some of what they had in there for sale was a lot trashier than what I was trying to give them.
