Soft Crate
My 9 week old pup is pooping in her crate.I have tried giving her 2 meals a day and she still poops at night?
I know she isn't going to be fully potty trained, but I have tried feeding her 2 times a day and 3 times a day. Usually her last feeding is at 5pm. I take her out to poop and pee at 9:30pm. She still poops. Is it normal for a nine week old to be able to hold her pee, but not her poop. it is hard and sometimes soft. Help?
If you can't hear her moving around in her crate at night (which means you need to take her out immediately) then you need to move the crate beside the bed or put a cat bell on her collar so you can hear her when she moves.
Dogs (unless they're puppy mill dogs) don't WANT to go in their crate, but if they tell you that they have to go and you don't take them out they don't really have a choice other than to go in their crate.
Try taking her for a walk before bed.
