Red Size

who would win in a fight between a wild cat and a red fox of equal size?
i am just so curious because they both are so aggressive and also
a wild cat and a banded mongoose of equal size.
The cat wins. Domestic cats are easily capable of seeing off foxes larger than themselves - I've lost count of the number of times one of my cats has chased foxes out of my garden! Cats are very strong for their size, very fast and agile, and are armed not only with teeth, but with four sets of razor-sharp claws (the claws of foxes are non-retractile, and therefore blunt from constant contact with the ground). If a cat smaller than a fox can defeat it, it follows that one of equal size should find it easy.
A cat also has the advantage over the banded mongoose - even at equal size the cat is stronger, faster and better armed.
By the way, neither wild cats nor red foxes are typically aggressive. Both are shy animals that prefer to avoid confrontation.
Transporting foods for lunches and picnics and storing leftovers for reheating is a cinch with the Pyrex Storage Plus set. Included in this set are two 2-cup rounds, one 3-cup rectangular, one 4-cup round, and one 6-cup rectangular storage piece, all glass, with plastic covers...
