Poodle Dog
Is a toy Poodle a good dog for a 12 year old girl?
I am 12 and my parents are thinking about getting me a toy poodle. I am an animal lover and i just want to know fro someone who has that type of dog a little about it. For instance how big does it get is it a social dog, Is it a playful dog...etc. Thanks =)
I'm an animal lover too, and I know you will love it!!! I am actually a 10 year old girl, and i have a miniature poodle. They are great!!! They never get TOO hyper, when your playful and jumping around, it'll do the same. But when you are calm, it will just lay down near you, etc. Yes, they are VERY social!! They are great with other animals and are practically a people person- er dog. XD The toy poodles get about as big as a little bit bigger than a brick's width, and about as tall as 3-4 inches above your ankle bone. Im sure you will LOVE your dog just as much as I do! 
EDIT!!!: They are NOT stubborn at all!! Poodles are actually the second smartest dog breed in the world, barely beaten by the Border Collie. My dog is great, and though we dont tend to teach him many things, as we want him to be a simple family pet, but when we do teach him tricks, he learns it on the second try. He's practically perfect!!
Another edit!: They are NEVER horrible!! Even if you don't teach them anything. I see no reason why people are saying they can be horrible. Please do NOT believe them!! Trust me, they are great, I liked this dog so much, that me and my family, (we live in texas) drove all the way to Mississippi to get my dog Broady. He is so sweet!!! I absolutely love him, and PLEASE don't believe anyone who says they aren't.
