Pill Pockets
Has Anyone Ever Tried "Pill Pockets" For Their Dog? Were They Effective?
My beagle Maggie has injured her leg (not seriously) and my vet proscribed pain killers she's to take once a day for a 7-10 days, but she's not all that great with pills even though she's so uncomfortable. I've tried everything from favorite treats to table food but nothing works and I feel guilty just forcing them down.
My vet recommended these things called "pill pockets" and I was wondering if they worked for your dogs, they're pretty expensive, I don't mind or anything just so long as they work.

It's not that I won't force them, I have done so today because nothing else seems to work, it's just I'd rather find an alternative. Fish oil sounds promising.
DONT use them...there have been several recalls about them. complaints to consumer affairs about all greenies products killing their dogs. Recalls on all lines of Greenies products. YOu can find it here
