Pattern Med

Wanting to go to med School in the future. . .what are my chances???
OK, here we go . . .When I was 19 I started attending college. I did horrible; dropped classes or stopped attending and received Ds and many Fs, and continued with the same pattern for about three semesters after that. So when I finally realized that I wanted to become a doctor (at 22) I found out I had a GPA of 1.5 or less!!!! I've now raised my GPA to a whopping 2.5 lol (it is still going up).
Now, I am 24 years old and STILL at a community college. . .I've just started taking Chemistry and will be taking Calc, Physics and bio, and I volunteer 4 hours a week at a local hospital. I plan to get my RN degree, then my BS in Anthro and then hopefully apply to med school.
As for my horrible academic past, not trying to excuse it, but I did have a rough time growing up. One of the hardest things I've had to do is yank myself out of that hole.. . .
I still can't help but to feel, at times, like I'm not qualified for Med School . . .
Besides raising my GPA , what else can I do?
Make sure to raise your GPA up to at least a 3.5, you can do it. Make sure to take the MCAT a year before you graduate with your BA, but since you want to be a Nurse. I would suggest woking as a nUrse for 5 years and then start applying to medical school. Just to let you know Nurses make more mony than doctors during their first year. Nurses make 5,000-7,000 a month.. Whereas doctors who graduate from medical school and start their residency wil make between 35,000-45,000 a year. Again keep those grades up. and study for that NCLEX and MCAT
