How much food should I be feeding a 90 lbs dog each day?
My hubby says that 2 cups of dry food is enough and that I am WAY over feeding her.
I also like to give her veggies and left of meat mixed in with her food.
I feed two cups in the am and two in the pm and the pm meal is mixed with veggies and meat.
She is three and very active.
A vet would tell you to follow the directions on the back of the dog food bag, but im not going to be letting my dog starve, i "free feed" him, and he is not over weight or unhealthy and he is 9 years old, so i would feel it out at first. if you are feeding him twice a day and he is eating the food like he never has b4 i would increase it and give a lunch too. hope this helps.
