Jacket Coat
What type of coat or jacket is worn with various women's outfits?
I am trying to figure out when to wear a long coat or if it is OK to wear a jacket with a certain skirt? How does one figure this out. Example; pencil skirt and frilly blouse with heels, what style of outerwear goes with this? Or jeans anboots? Or the same skirt but with boots? Thanks for your help.
With a pencil skirt, you can wear a long coat. I love outerwear that's double breasted, because I find it to be more flattering. It also depends on the weather/season. Because in the winter, you can definitely do the long, wool coat. But in the spring, you can wear a classic trenchcoat. And both can be paired with any of the above outfits. A great fitted blazer can go well with the jeans and boots, as well as with the skirt with boots and heels. Try to mix it up and see what you like best. Good luck!
