How do I find out the WORTH of a die cast collectible car??
I have a 2001 (issue)- First gear inc. General Motors parts colectible 1937 Chevy Tow Truck. I need to find out if it is worth anything. I "NEED" to sell it if it is worth enough.
A quick check on Ebay finds one for US$49.00. It has no bids and one day to go.
I would say that it is worth less than $49.
Truth be told. Most "collectible" items never go up in value.
From what I have seen, most such things are worth about 1/2 of the retail value, if you have the original packaging.
They are almost worthless without the packaging.
