Dog Pants

Why does my senior dog pants so much?
I am getting a bit worried.
My 15 years-old English Cocker Spaniel is panting very frequently.
What causes her to pant this much?
I do make sure she has plenty of water, go outside as much as she has to, our house temp. is just normal, & she seems healthy...except for her constantly panting?? why is that?? what causing it?? =//
Thanks! =)
Go to your VET!! Your dog may be in heart failure (not a heart attack) but still very serious. Dogs in congestive heart failure become much less active and tire easily. Their appetite usually falls of and they show signs of difficult respiration, panting and coughing while at rest. Often their tummy enlarges and takes on a pear-shape as fluid accumulates in the liver and abdomen.
Go to your vet and find out ASAP!!
