Dog Guardian
1:What is the difference between a dog owner and a dog guardian?
This is a 2 part question.. 2: Would you give up ownership for guardianship?
How many ways can I STRONGLY say, H*LL NO I would NEVER give up ownership of my dogs.
The difference between the two being that owning something give you the ultimate right and responsibility for its care . Dogs are "owned" becuz they are property. When dogs cease to become property and we cease to become owners and are mde "guardians" then they become legally like children. We as "guardians" would lose all rights and privledges. If the "current fad" for medical treatment deemed it was neccessary to give 12 in 1 shots, then we as guardians, whould have no recourse except to subject our dogs to these shots or they would be taken from us. If folks felt feeding a certain diet, say iams was the best for all pets, then feeding anything other than Iams, would make your dogs subject to confiscation by the state. Bottom line...as dog guardians, we give up our rights to the state. As dog owners, we reserve judgement to ourselves for what is best. guardianship is just another way to create an even larger government and excuse me very much but the government is far enough up my rear end without adding pet guardianship to the matter!!!!
