Can flea shampoo give my dog the runs?
I have a large chihuahua/ pinkonese mix dog and washed him with Hartz flea shampoo with calming oatmeal. After, I towel dried him and let him go on, like not even a minute later he squirted all down the hall. He never poops in the house so I know it is the runs. Is this some kind of allergic reaction? I put him back in the tub and washed his booty and made sure he was rinsed very well in case. I am worried now but he is acting okay otherwise.
He doesn't have fleas I just thought the oatmeal would be comforting, but he has never done this with any other shampoo even flea shampoos. I will never buy that stuff again.
