Are americans more outraged by dog abuse than murder, wife beating,or rape?
If Michael Vick was in trouble for having committed one of the above, would people be foaming at the mouth just as much? ...why do americans not react in kind when an athlete kills his girlfriend or beats his wife, or when they hear of genocide such as in Darfur? Waht about the other day when a suicide bombers killed nearly 200 innocent iraqi citizens.
I am not hear to say that Vick is a good guy or to say I support dog fighting or slaughtering animals, but I do notice the hypocrisy...and I also notice that because Vick is a famous rich young athlete that some people want his head and want to see him destroyed for life.
One would think so. I am outraged at the following as it is one example of where American thinking is today.
