Dog Bathing
I have a difficult time bathing my dog. He will attack me if I do so. What will I do?
He's not been in the shower for three weeks now and he smells bad.
attack like to physically harm you? or jump on you cause you are blocking the way? if its the first he doesn't view you as the alpha in the pack you need to establish that, this doesn't mean hit him, just be more assertive with your voice and don't allow him to get away with doing something you said no to, once this is done bathing should become easier. until then or if its the second grab the hose a couple buckets of warm water soap towel and a leash, tie him to a tree hose him down pour some of the warm water on him so he doesn't freeze soap him up hose him down put more warm water on him and start drying him off. if he tries to bite during this and you can't stop him use a brush on a pole the things some people use to wash their car with get a soft bristle one and wash up.
