Carrier Brown

Has Gordon Brown gone mad?
In the run up the G8 summit Gordon is urging us to stop wasting food, saying that the average British household throws out £8 in left overs each week and that this ids driving up prices. Sorry about the scraps Gordon but I saw the 3 billion you are about to waste on aircraft carriers and the 20 billion you are about to waste on a replacement for Trident and the 1 billion each year you are wasting on the Iraq war and I thought that eating egg shells and potato peelings couldn't really compete with that. At least Tubby lard arz Brown is leading by example as it's pretty clear that there's not much washing up to do when he has been at the trough.
I'm not British, but I'd be mad about it if I was. If I want to spend my money of food and go throw it in the grocery store dumpster that's my choice to make. As long as I'm not spending my money on something illegal I want the government to keep out of my business and not tell me how to live my life.

Time has been kind to Flight of the Intruder, a rousing aviation-action adventure that looks better now than it did to critics who panned it in 1991. Perhaps they were expecting a Tom Clancy-ish blockbuster (producer Mace Neufeld oversaw the Jack Ryan franchise), but director John (Conan the Barbarian) Milius had something potentially more substantial in mind...
